Lublin International Medical Congress (LIMC) is a prestigious scientific event with a global reach, organized for over 11 years by the Student Scientific Society of the Medical University of Lublin. From its inception, LIMC has attracted young scientists, medical students, and physicians from around the world, creating a platform for interdisciplinary exchange of ideas, presentation of cutting-edge research, and development of practical skills.

2. Fees

The conference is FREE for PASSIVE participants.

An active participant (presenting on-site or online) is required to pay a fee:

  1. 70 PLN/16 Euro - active participation stationar
  2. 40 PLN/9 Euro - active participation on-line

Payments are collected only after the abstract has been accepted by the Scientific Committee, by the date 17 March 2025 by 23:59 (UTC+01:00)

Apply for the congress

1. When can I register? How?

The registration of passive participants will be possible via the registration form from 31th January until 13th March 2025 by 23:59 (UTC+01:00).

The registration of abstracts will be possible from 31th January by the day of 3rd March 2025 by 23:59 (UTC+01:00).

The corresponding registration form you can find on our website.


2. When is the deadline for sending in an abstract?

3rd March by 23:59 (UTC+01:00) is the last day, when you can provide abstracts.


Presentations

1. How much time do I have for my presentation and what time is designed for discussion?

Original Papers: The presentation should last no longer than 7 minutes. There is 3 minutes designed for discussion

Case Report: The presentation should last no longer than 5 minutes. There is 2 minutes designed for discussion.

Poster session: The presentation should last no longer than 4 minutes. There is 1 minutes designed for discussion.


2. Can co-authors present my work?

Only the first author can present his/her work.


3. How many abstracts can I submit?

As an author, you can submit a maximum of 3 works, but will be able to present only those that receive a positive jury`s opinion.


4. Will everyone present at the conference will receive a certificate of participation?

Yes, active participants will receive certificate of participation with the title of presented work and the names of authors. Passive participants will receive certificates of attendance.


5. What can I present online?

Orginal research,case report, series of case report and poster can be present online Students of the Medical University of Lublin are permitted to present their work exclusively in an on-site format.


7. In what format and by when should I submit my presentation?

The authors are obliged to prepare their presentation in .ppt or .pptx and .pdf file formats. Other file formats will not be accepted. Organizers do not bear any responsibility for malfunctioning of presentations created in different formats. All animations and sound files are attached by the authors at their own responsibility.

The presentations and digital posters should be sent to the Organizing Committee by an e-mail to the following address: lim.congress@365.uml.edu.pl, by 23th March 2025 (UTC +01:00).

Participants are obliged to send emails with the name of their session in the title of each email.


8. Will my work be included in the abstract book?

Yes. The prerequisite for authors to have their abstract included in the Book of Abstract is to deliver a properly signed license to The Organizing Committee by 29th March 2025 to the office of The Organizing Committee during the Conference or to the address of the Students’ Scientific Society of the Medical University of Lublin, i.e. Studenckie Towarzystwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Lublinie Aleje Racławickie 1 20-059 Lublin POLAND. Failure to submit the license agreement by the deadline will result in the withdrawal of the abstract from publication in the abstract book.

To avoid improperly completed agreements, participants are required to send a scanned copy of the completed agreements to the email: lim.congress@365.uml.edu.pl by March 10, 2025 by 23:59 (UTC+01:00).

Passive participation is free of charge.

1. Where will the conference take place?

The conference will be held at the Medical Simulation Center of the Medical University of Lublin, located at Doktora Witolda Chodźki 4, 20-093 Lublin.

The Conference Office will be located on the 4th floor.
